This measure assesses the percentage of adult patients who indicated how often ("Never," "Sometimes," "Usually," or "Always") their primary care provider seemed informed and up-to-date about care received from specialists
Numerator: The number of "Never," "Sometimes," "Usually," or "Always" responses to the question "In the last 6 months, how often did the provider named in Question 1 seem informed and up-to-date about the care you got from specialists?"
Denominator: Number of patients age 18 years and older who answered "yes" to the preceding question asking whether they had seen a specialist in the last 6 months and who answered this question
