This measure assesses the percentage of caregivers of pediatric health plan patients who indicated whether ("Yes" or "No") their health care provider asked them which choice was best for their child. Numerator: The number of "Yes" or "No" responses to the question "In the last 6 months, when there was more than one choice for your child’s treatment or health care, did your child’s doctor or other health provider ask you which choice was best for your child?" Denominator: Number of caregivers of pediatric patients and who answered the question on the CAHPS Health Plan Survey.
