This measure assesses the percentage of caregivers of pediatric health plan patients who indicated whether ("Yes" or "No") their health care provider told them there was more than one choice for child's treatment or health care. Numerator: The number of "Yes" or "No" responses to the question "Choices for your child’s treatment or health care can include choices about medicine, surgery, or other treatment. In the last 6 months, did your child’s doctor or other health provider tell you there was more than one choice for your child’s treatment or health care?" Denominator: Number of caregivers of pediatric patients and who answered the question on the CAHPS Health Plan Survey.
